If you only do one thing this spring to improve your well-being, take a morning walk.

When I think of the simplest and most powerful thing we can do for our mental and physical well-being in midlife, it's walking. And there's an added benefit..... walking may slow the ageing process.

Recent research by Leicester University stated that:

"Stop the clocks: Brisk walking may slow the biological ageing process" and they confirmed a link between walking pace and leucocyte telomere length (LTL) – an indicator of biological age – the Leicester-based team of researchers estimate that a lifetime of brisk walking could lead to the equivalent of 16 years younger biological age by midlife.

As humans, we are designed to walk forward. We are designed to talk a morning walk and move. So lovelies, set your alarm 15mins early this month and let's get walking.
