How to thrive in midlife & become the woman you want to be.

I hear you; I get you; I was you.
For so many years, I focused my life around work; travelling to London every Monday morning; working 10/12 hour day, drinking, and not taking care of myself. I have no regrets, and I loved meeting so many wonderful people. But then, one day, after I had what I call my peri-meno meltdown, I had had enough! I kicked the habits of old, packed in my ad agency career and decided to focus on my mental health and midlife fitness.
It wasn’t an overnight switch, and I am still very much work-in-progress. But now, I am so much happier than I have ever been.
How did I do it?
Well, quite simply.
I prioritise daily movement, choose my food wisely, and limit alcohol, but most importantly, I am starting to reflect and learn from my actions through daily journaling.
These actions have helped me make the most significant change in my life; I can shut down that little nagging voice that tells me I am not good enough. And I am now loving the woman I am starting to become.
Yes, become!
Because our journey continues, we are always young enough to grow, change direction, or try new things.
We must listen to the voice that says….go on, do it; become the woman you have always wanted to be.
